THE ACACIA STRAIN: 'The Hills Have Eyes' Video Released
September 1, 2010"The Hills Have Eyes", the new video from Massachusetts metallers THE ACACIA STRAIN, can be viewed below. The clip was shot in Western Massachusetts with director David Brodsky, who has previously worked with HATEBREED, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and UNEARTH, among others.
"The Hills Have Eyes" comes off THE ACACIA STRAIN's latest album, "Wormwood", which sold around 6,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 67 on The Billboard 200 chart.
THE ACACIA STRAIN's previous CD, "Continent", opened with 5,600 units to land at No. 107.
"Wormwood" was released on July 20 via Prosthetic Records. The album, which was recorded at Planet Z Studios in Hadley, Massachusetts with Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, CHIMAIRA, SHADOWS FALL) handling producing, mixing and mastering, features three guest vocalists — HATEBREED's Jamey Jasta, 100 DEMONS' Bruce LePage and Kyle Chard of BORN LOW.
THE ACACIA STRAIN will head to Europe next month for the "Hell On Earth Tour" alongside EVERY TIME I DIE, TERROR, ALL SHALL PERISH, THICK AS BLOOD, DOWN TO NOTHING and VERA CRUZ. They will also headline an East Coast trek called "To Catch a Predatour" with support from THE RED CHORD, TERROR, GAZA and THE CONTORTIONIST.
